He lived in Kenya from 1968 to 1972 and had a romantic relationship with a woman named Jane Wanjiku wa Kimani from Kangemi, a neighborhood in Nairobi.
During his time in Kenya, Chawila and Jane had a daughter named Josephine Kaka Chawila. Josephine was born while Chawila was studying at Somali National University.
However, after Chawila left Kenya, he lost contact with Jane and their daughter. Now, many years later, he hopes to find Josephine and reconnect with her. Chawila's time in Kenya was significant in his life.
He moved there in 1968 and lived in the country for four years. During this period, he met Jane Wanjiku wa Kimani, and they fell in love. Jane lived in Kangemi, a vibrant area in Nairobi.
Their relationship led to the birth of their daughter, Josephine, in 1972. Unfortunately, due to circumstances that Chawila does not elaborate on, he and Jane lost touch after he left Kenya.
This separation has left Chawila wondering about his daughter for many years. Chawila's journey from Namibia to Kenya and then to Sweden is remarkable.
He left Namibia, his home country, and lived in Kenya for several years before eventually moving to Sweden. It was during his stay in Kenya that his daughter was born. However, his move to Sweden meant that he lost all contact with Jane and Josephine.
Now, at 78 years old, Chawila is determined to find his daughter. He shared his story in the hope that someone might have information about Josephine. According to Chawila, Josephine would be about 52 years old now.
Chawila remembers Jane had a son named Kimani and a brother also named Kimani. He hopes that these details might help someone recognize Josephine or Jane. Chawila is eager to reunite with his daughter and learn about her life.
For Chawila, finding Josephine is a way to reconnect with his past and make up for lost time. He has missed out on his daughter’s entire life, and this search is his way of trying to build a relationship with her, even if it’s late. He believes that finding Josephine will bring him peace and happiness.
Chawila is asking anyone with information about Josephine to come forward. He hopes that someone who knew Jane or Josephine might recognize the names and help him find his daughter. Any small piece of information could be crucial in reuniting Chawila with his daughter.
