The exact cause of his death has not been disclosed, but his passing has certainly left a significant void in the hearts of many who knew him and followed his work.

His colleagues at the station and others in the media industry shared their shock and sadness over his untimely death.

A colleague at Inooro FM expressed, “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the death of our very own colleague and friend, Prof. Ngugi Njoroge who passed away before dawn today."

Prof. Njoroge was more than just a radio presenter. He was a thought leader and a respected figure in political commentary.

His show 'Keera' was known for its deep dives into political and social issues, providing listeners with not just news, but analysis and context.

Additionally, the media industry was shaken by the tragic deaths of two radio presenters from Thome FM.

They lost their lives in a fatal road accident along the Sagana-Makutano Highway on a recent Saturday. These incidents have brought to light the often-overlooked risks that media professionals face and have united the industry in grief.
