Nairobi Family In Tears as Body Of Kin Who Went Missing During Gen Z Protests Is Found at City Mortuary

The family of Tony Paul, a young man who went missing during the anti-government protests in Nairobi on June 25, has discovered his body at the City Mortuary.

Tony Paul's family had been desperately searching for him since he disappeared on the day of the protests.

Weeks of hope and despair ended when they found his body at the City Mortuary, bringing their worst fears to life.

His body bore the signs of violence, with bullet wounds on his head indicating he was likely killed by a live round during the protests.

Tony Paul was among the many young protesters who took to the streets of Nairobi on June 25 to voice their opposition to the government's policies.

The protests, which saw demonstrators invading the National Assembly, were part of a larger movement against the controversial finance bill.

On that chaotic day, Tony lost contact with his family, and despite their best efforts to locate him, he remained missing for over a month.

The search for Tony Paul was relentless. His family, friends, and concerned citizens spread the word across social media, hoping to find any leads on his whereabouts.

A post on X (formerly Twitter) by a worried user highlighted the desperation and urgency of the situation: "My friend’s brother is still missing since Tuesday. His name is Tony Paul and has short dreadlocks. Please Help Us Find Him by sharing this as far and wide as possible."

Despite these efforts, it wasn't until July 27 that the family finally learned of Tony's fate. His body, cold and lifeless, was found at the City Mortuary in Nairobi. The sight of the bullet wounds on his head was a devastating confirmation of the violent circumstances surrounding his death.
