Nyeri Man On the Run After Allegedly Stabbing Wife to Death Over Bedroom Disagreements

Police in Mathira, Nyeri County, have launched a search for a 33-year-old man accused of a heinous crime. The man allegedly lured his 26-year-old estranged wife to his rented house, where he brutally attacked her.

Reports suggest he stabbed and slit her throat, in addition to striking her head with a blunt object.The incident occurred while the victim was reportedly picking up their young child. 

Thankfully, it remains unclear if the child sustained any harm during the altercation.Neighbors discovered the gruesome scene after the suspect fled. 

They immediately alerted the authorities, who arrived promptly to secure the area and gather evidence. Tragically, the victim was found lifeless, lying in a pool of blood inside the rented apartment.

The couple, who had been married for two years, had recently separated. They shared custody of their one-year-and-six-month-old child.Family and friends of the victim have condemned the brutal act and urged the police to ensure justice is served swiftly.
