Police Arrest Nakuru Assistant Chief For Defiling 4-Year-Old Girl

The suspect was arrested and detained at Milimani GK Prison in Nakuru.

Police in Kuresoi North, Nakuru County, have arrested a 42-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 4-year-old girl.

The girl was returning home after spending the day away after absconding from school without the knowledge of her guardian.

Kabianga Sub-Location Assistant Chief Douglas Koech Kipkemoi was nabbed after the minor reported the incident to her parents who then filed a report with the police.

The accused allegedly warned her against screaming and held a knife against her before defiling her.

According to a Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) report, the girl complained to her parents that she had been experiencing pain while passing urine.

She told the police how the accused tied and locked her in his house and continued to defile her.

Upon further prodding, the minor revealed that she had been defiled by the administrator, prompting her parents to take her to hospital for checkup first before reporting the perpetrator leading to his arrest.

Today, neighbours said while parents of the minor were away, they heard some girls passing outside the house and screamed for help.“The arrest followed a harrowing report from the parents of a 4-year-old minor who had complained of severe pain while passing urine prompting her parents to investigate further,” the DCI stated.

They pushed the door open and untied her, and they reported the matter at the Police Station, and later the suspect was arrested.

“To their horror, she revealed that she had been defiled by the suspect prompting the parents to immediately take her to Londiani Sub-County Hospital for medical examination and treatment.”

While condemning the incident, the relative said the girl lacked exposure and could have been lured by the suspect due to a shared native language.

The suspect has since been arraigned and is presently remanded at the Milimani GK Prison in Nakuru awaiting the mentioning of the case on Thursday.
