Jimmy Wanjigi: I Was In My House When Police Were Searching For Me, I Watched Them Assaulting My Wife and Kids

Kenyan businessman and political strategist Jimi Wanjigi has urged Kenyan men to marry Kamba women. Wanjigi, who is married to Irene Nzisa from Tala, praised his wife for her strength during a recent public event.

Jimmy Wanjigi has finally decided to reveal where he was when the police raided his home, with the aim of arresting him. The officers led by the special Recce squad, entered Wanjigi's home like they were looking for a criminal and in a video that went viral his wife is heard urging them not to kill her.

He recounted how her wife protected him when the police were searching for him, saying, "You never know the strength of a woman until you see her in action, like a tea bag revealing its strength when immersed in hot water."

Wanjigi said he was just in his house, watching how the police officers were threatening his wife and family. He even saw a female police officer beating his wife.

He continued, "The police were looking for me as if I were a terrorist. Do I look like one? That’s when I truly saw her strength—she stood by the family, never showing fear or crying. If you want to know who really knows every corner of the house, ask the wife. She saved me."

Wanjigi said that she can't reveal the exact place where he was , but he doesn't have a bunker in his house, he was just in the hideout when the police were looking for him. He said that he is aware that Ruto is on a mission and his mission is to assasinate him.

Speaking from his home in Muthaiga, he described how his brief appearance on the streets was met with a heavy police response. "We were there for barely five minutes before being teargassed. We were chased from town and this home has been under siege since then," he said.
