His death has left his family, friends, and community in shock as they try to come to terms with the loss. Kenneth Kiplagat was living with his brother, Boniface Too, in Eldoret city.

On the morning of Tuesday, September 3, Kiplagat left the house to donate blood and seemed to be in good spirits. After completing the donation, he spoke with his brother over the phone at around 10:52 AM to confirm that he was on his way back to the house.

Everything seemed normal during their conversation, and there were no signs that something was wrong.

However, just a few minutes later, at around 11:05 AM, Boniface tried calling him again, but this time Kiplagat's phone was switched off.

This was unusual for Kiplagat, who was always reachable, so Boniface immediately grew concerned. He started to suspect that something was wrong since it was unlike his brother to turn off his phone without informing anyone.

As hours passed and Kiplagat remained unreachable, his brother Boniface and other family members became more worried. They tried calling him again and again, but his phone remained off.

They contacted his friends and checked around Eldoret city in the hope of finding him, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Days passed with no sign of Kiplagat. His family became increasingly anxious, fearing for his safety. The situation took a heartbreaking turn when Kiplagat’s body was discovered at a lodge located in Maili Nne, an area near Khetias Supermarket in Eldoret. His death came as a terrible shock to the family, who had been praying for his safe return.

The death of Kenneth Kiplagat has devastated his family and friends, especially because he had shown no signs of trouble or distress. According to his brother, Kiplagat was a cheerful and friendly person who always had a positive outlook on life.

He was social, easy to talk to, and had many friends. There had been no indications that he was struggling with any personal problems or depression, which makes his death even harder for the family to accept.

The family has described the situation as a massive shock, as Kiplagat had always been full of life. His brother Boniface mentioned that there were no red flags that would have suggested his brother was in such a state of mind.

He added that their mother has been particularly affected by the tragedy and is finding it difficult to cope with the loss of her son.

Kenneth Kiplagat is set to be laid to rest on Friday, September 13, at the family’s home in Ngeria-Kaptum village, located in Megun Ward, Uasin Gishu County.

As they prepare for the burial, the family has organized a fundraiser that will take place on Tuesday, September 10. The goal is to raise enough money to cover the burial expenses and give Kiplagat a proper send-off.

The death has shaken the entire community, as people try to understand what could have led to such a tragic outcome.

Kiplagat had recently secured a new job, which was a major achievement for him, and everyone was expecting him to embark on this new chapter of his life with excitement and hope.

For Kiplagat’s family, dealing with the sudden loss has been overwhelming. The unexpected nature of his death has left them searching for answers. His brother, friends, and relatives continue to support each other during this difficult time, but the pain of losing someone so young and full of potential is profound.

The family is still in shock, and they are seeking comfort from each other and the community as they prepare to say their final goodbyes. Kiplagat’s mother, in particular, is struggling to come to terms with the loss of her son, and the family has requested prayers and emotional support from friends and well-wishers as they go through this tough time.
