Manhunt Underway After Uncle Kills Two Nieces, Injures Sister in Kajiado Horror Attack

A horrifying tragedy unfolded in Bondeni, Upper Matasia, Kajiado North, after a man allegedly killed his two young nieces and seriously injured his sister in a brutal attack on Friday. The shocking incident has left the community in shock as police in Ngong launch a manhunt for the suspect, who remains at large.

The suspect, who is believed to be the children's uncle and a brother to the injured 19-year-old girl, is said to have used a sword in the attack. The two children, aged four and six, were found dead inside their home by their father, who had been out when the incident occurred.

According to a neighbor, the father returned home to find the door to his house locked. Concerned about the whereabouts of his children, he asked the neighbor if she had seen them. She informed him that she had not, prompting the father to break the padlock on the door to gain entry.

Inside, he was met with a heart-wrenching scene. His two daughters lay in a pool of blood, while his sister, though alive, was severely injured and in visible pain.

Neighbors in the area reported hearing screams from the house, but they did not immediately suspect anything was wrong. "We thought it was just children playing, so we didn’t check," one neighbor explained. It was only after the father’s discovery that the gravity of the situation became clear.

The children's bodies were later taken to the Ngong Hospital mortuary, while the injured sister was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital, where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.

Ngong police have since launched an intense search for the suspect. Detectives believe the man, whose motive remains unknown, fled the scene shortly after the attack. Speaking on the matter, local authorities assured the public that all efforts are being made to capture the suspect and bring him to justice.

“The suspect is on the run, but we are working tirelessly to locate him,” a police officer from Ngong station stated. They are also investigating the possible reasons behind the attack, though no clear motive has been established.

The tragedy has deeply affected the local community, with neighbors expressing their disbelief and sorrow over the event. "We can’t understand why someone would do this to his own family," one resident remarked, her voice filled with sadness. Many who knew the family are struggling to come to terms with the loss of the two innocent children.

The surviving sister’s condition remains critical, though doctors at Kenyatta National Hospital are doing everything possible to save her. The family and the community are hoping for her recovery while dealing with the heartbreaking loss of the two young girls.
