Stephen Letoo Speaks Out After Attack on His Narok Home

Citizen TV senior reporter, Stephen Letoo, has raised alarm following an attack on his rural home in Enooretet, Narok County.

In a statement issued on Sunday, September 15, Letoo revealed that this was not the first time such an attack had occurred.

He expressed frustration over the repeated incidents, noting that despite exercising restraint and not retaliating, the attacks have continued.

According to Letoo, the attackers also threw stones on the roofs of houses within the compound, further escalating the threat.

Letoo did not mince words in describing the gravity of the situation. "I take this as a serious threat to my family and an attempted murder on me and/or some of my family members," he said.

The journalist believes that these incidents are not random acts of violence but targeted intimidation. He views the attacks as an effort to silence or pressure him, possibly due to his work in the media.

The attack has understandably left Letoo feeling vulnerable and worried about the well-being of his family. He expressed frustration that despite the presence of a General Service Unit (GSU) camp near his home, such threats to his safety continue.

He called on the GSU officers stationed nearby to step up and ensure the protection of his family, neighbors, and property.

Letoo’s patience appears to be wearing thin. He issued a strong warning to those responsible for the attacks, stating that he would not hesitate to reveal their identities if the intimidation persisted.

"Any further night or day activities by unknown persons around my home will be met by the full force of resistance and defense of life," he declared.

The repeated attacks on Letoo's home have understandably left him shaken. As a public figure, he is no stranger to scrutiny and criticism, but the journalist now finds himself facing a very real threat to his personal safety and that of his loved ones.

His remarks signal that he is ready to take action to defend his family, but he is also appealing for intervention from law enforcement.
