"Chaos Unfolds At Super Metro Makanga's Burial As Widow Compelled To Do This Infront Of Mourners

The burial of Gerald Mwangi, popularly known as Mwas or Makanga Bae, a well-known conductor for Super Metro, took a dramatic turn as family tensions erupted over the use of funds contributed by his colleagues and friends.

Mwas, who was admired by many in the matatu industry, had his final send-off marred by disorganization and conflicts among his family members.

Mwas’s family was heavily criticized for failing to organize a proper burial. Attendees noted the poor arrangements, including insufficient food, which sparked outrage.

The family blamed the Super Metro team for mishandling the funds contributed by Mwas’s friends and colleagues.

However, it was reported that the Super Metro team had been a strong pillar of support for Mwas when he was ill.

They helped cover his hospital bills, purchased the coffin, paid morgue fees, and even shared the leftover funds with both Mwas’s wife and mother.

Despite these efforts, the tension within the family worsened when Mwas's wife, who had been given 62,000 Ksh from the contributions, was pressured to hand over her share to her mother-in-law.

Sources revealed that the family was displeased with the burial arrangements and seemed to blame Mwas's wife for the poor state of affairs. This led to further disputes, reflecting deeper issues within the family dynamics.

It appears that Mwas’s family did not fully accept his current wife and seemed to show favoritism towards his previous partner, the mother of his child.

This division only intensified the drama at the burial, creating a chaotic atmosphere. While the Super Metro team stood by Mwas’s wife, the strained family relations continued to overshadow the ceremony.

As mourners gathered to pay their respects, they were met with an unsettling display of conflict. Many were shocked by the level of disorganization and the open disputes over the funds.

What was meant to be a dignified farewell for Mwas turned into a spectacle, revealing the challenges that can arise from unresolved family issues, particularly when money and relationships are involved.
