"Kama Bata" Drama As Teacher Finds Pupils Making Fun Of Her Walking Style

A Kenyan teacher recently captured a lighthearted moment in her classroom, sharing a TikTok video that has since gone viral.
The video shows her calmly addressing a playful situation where her young pupils made fun of her.

In the video, she asks one student to confess what was said about her, to which the child responds by blaming another classmate, Peter Moya, claiming that Peter was the one who said the teacher walks "like a duck."

This led to an amusing back-and-forth exchange between the two students, with each trying to shift the blame to the other.

The entire class found the situation funny, with everyone, including the teacher, laughing along. The teacher playfully reacted by saying, "Why would you say that about me?

I am a princess, and you say I walk like a duck. Please call an eyewitness." Despite her playful questioning, none of the other students admitted to making the comment.

The teacher captioned the video with a humorous note, explaining how children often say or do anything to avoid getting into trouble.

She wrote, “I think teachers should take law as a part-time course. Nothing serious. Kids can do anything or say anything to get out of trouble.”

The video sparked reactions from netizens who praised the teacher for handling the situation with such ease and humor.

Many people in the comment section admired her relaxed approach to the situation, noting how different it was from stricter classroom environments they experienced in the past.

One user joked, "If those Mau Mau fighters who taught us were still around, they would have turned into devils, and canes would be flying all over the classroom!"

Others encouraged the teacher to post a walking video to “confirm” if she indeed walked like a duck, as the children claimed.

Some netizens also shared their own experiences with similar situations, commending the teacher for her positive attitude toward her students. They found her calm demeanor and ability to connect with her pupils refreshing.
