Outrage as Beatrice Elachi Incites Violence During Bomas Chaos

Chaos broke out at the Bomas of Kenya during a public meeting discussing the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

What was meant to be a peaceful forum for citizens to share their views quickly turned into disorder, with shouting and fighting taking over.

During the event, activist Morara Kebaso became a target of an attack. A group of individuals threw chairs at him, causing panic among those present.

In a disturbing video that has gone viral, former Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi can be heard shouting "Piga," which means "beat" in Kiswahili. Her words seemed to encourage the violence, leading to more attacks on Kebaso, who had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

Many Kenyans were outraged by Elachi's actions. Social media was filled with angry comments condemning her behavior. People accused her of inciting violence and expressed disappointment in her as a leader. One commenter wrote, “Shame on you, you don’t deserve to be a leader,” showing how upset the public is with her conduct.

Others questioned her character as a mother, with one user asking, “Aren’t you a mother?” This highlights the belief that leaders should set a good example for the community, especially women in leadership roles. Some even labeled her a “disgrace to women” for her involvement in such an aggressive incident.
The backlash against Elachi underscores the growing frustration among Kenyans regarding leaders who promote violence and chaos. This incident is part of the larger political tensions surrounding Gachagua's impeachment, and many citizens are calling for more responsible behavior from their leaders.

In the wake of the chaos at Bomas, it is clear that Kenyans are demanding accountability and respect from those in power. As the nation grapples with these issues, the public is eager for leaders who prioritize peace and constructive dialogue over violence and disruption.
