"Wetangula Will Be Replaced By An ODM MP" Former Presidential Aspirant Predicts, Says This

Former Presidential aspirant Ekuru Aukot has made bold predictions regarding upcoming changes in Kenya’s political landscape.

Speaking earlier today, Aukot forecasted that National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula would soon be replaced by a Member of Parliament from the opposition Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.

This prediction comes at a time when the political atmosphere is tense following the recent impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Aukot's comments follow closely on the heels of Gachagua’s removal from office on corruption charges, a move that has sent shockwaves through the political community.

In a swift response to the impeachment, President William Ruto appointed Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki to take over as Deputy President.

According to Aukot, Gachagua’s ousting is evidence that no one in Ruto’s government is safe from political threats, no matter their loyalty or importance in past elections.

In his remarks, Aukot pointed out that if Ruto could go after Gachagua, one of his most trusted allies during his rise to the presidency, other top officials could also be at risk.

"Moses Wetangula is not safe either," Aukot warned, indicating that the current Speaker of the National Assembly could soon face political replacement.

Aukot described Gachagua as "the latest casualty" in what he sees as a strategy by President Ruto to consolidate power and maintain control in a rapidly changing political environment.

Despite this, Aukot singled out Oscar Sudi, a vocal supporter of Ruto, as one of the few remaining politicians in the president’s inner circle who seems secure.

Political analysts view these developments as part of a broader shift within Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza party.

Gachagua’s impeachment by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA)-dominated Senate signals a possible move toward tightening control over both the party and parliament.

Aukot’s prediction of Wetangula’s replacement is seen as further evidence of an ongoing shake-up at the highest levels of government.

Aukot's provocative statement has sparked debate, with many wondering if his prediction about Wetangula will materialize.

The unfolding political drama in Kenya leaves many officials questioning their future, as the president's recent actions suggest that even those once considered untouchable could soon find themselves out of power.
