"You’re Not The Only Judges In Kenya" Lawyer Khaminwa Urges Judge To Withdraw From Gachagua's Case For This

The impeachment case against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has sparked significant tension in the Kenyan judicial system.

As the hearings continue, Lawyer Khaminwa has raised serious concerns about the impartiality of the judges involved.

During the proceedings, Khaminwa strongly urged the judges to withdraw from the case, arguing that they are not the only judges available to handle such important matters.

Khaminwa stated, “You are not the only judges in the country. Allow another panel of judges to hear this case.”

He emphasized that if the current judges are not wanted or trusted to hear the case, they should step aside.

Khaminwa's remarks suggest that the integrity of the judicial process is at stake and that the Deputy President deserves a fair trial.

The lawyer highlighted the fact that if any party in the case feels they will not receive justice, they should be allowed to leave the courtroom.

This call for justice comes amid concerns that the impeachment proceedings are moving too quickly.

Khaminwa pointed out that Deputy President Gachagua may not have received the best education, but he holds a significant position as the Deputy President of Kenya.

Khaminwa questioned why Gachagua should be the first Deputy President to face impeachment so soon after taking office.

The impeachment case against Gachagua has created a highly charged atmosphere, not only among the legal teams but also within the wider public.

Many are closely watching the proceedings, and the outcome could have lasting implications for the Kenyan political landscape.

The call for a different panel of judges indicates a growing concern about fairness and transparency in the legal system.
