His story is one of overcoming challenges and defying expectations, showing the power of community support and determination.
Levis’ journey began years ago when he reported to Kanga Boys Secondary School in Form One.
At the time, he had nothing but a metal box and soap, as his family could not afford a uniform, school fees, or a bag.
His mother shared that financial difficulties made it impossible to buy the necessary items for school.
However, his situation caught the attention of well-wishers who offered their help. Thanks to their generosity, Levis was able to start his education with the basics he needed.
This was just the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Levis' story was shared by TUKO.co.ke, and through this platform, he was offered a full scholarship to Moringa School.
This scholarship gave him the chance to receive quality education and improve his skills. It was an opportunity that changed his life and allowed him to pursue his dreams.
Despite his rough start, Levis excelled in his studies. In the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, Levis scored a B+ overall.
He achieved an A in Computer Studies, an A- in Geography, and B+ in Kiswahili and Biology. His lowest score was a B- in English.
His performance shows the results of hard work, determination, and support from the community.
As Levis prepares to graduate, his story is being celebrated by friends, family, and everyone who helped him along the way.
Philanthropist Juliana Olayo, who played a key role in supporting Levis, expressed her pride in his achievements.
She highlighted the unfairness of poverty, which can block dreams, but also emphasized how powerful education and community support can be in changing a person’s future.
Levis’ success is proof that no matter the challenges, anyone can achieve their dreams with the right support and determination.
