Carol Sonnie Responds To Claims She's Dating Married Man

Carol Sonnie, a Kenyan content creator and former partner of comedian Mulamwah, has dismissed rumors that she is in a relationship with a married man.

The speculation arose after Sonnie shared a video on social media showing her mysterious partner unboxing a gift.

She also posted a picture of the man seated in a cozy room, though his face remained hidden.

Online sleuths quickly identified the man as an alleged city pastor, reigniting rumors that Sonnie had been dating him.

These rumors initially surfaced in 2022, shortly after her highly publicized breakup with Mulamwah.

At the time, Sonnie addressed the allegations in an Instagram Live session, firmly denying that she was involved in an extramarital affair.

In her recent video, Sonnie appeared with two friends, openly responding to questions about her love life.

When asked whether her partner is married, she confidently replied, “I am not dating a married man.

You guys have seen my man. Is he married?” Her friends humorously responded that it’s possible to think someone is single only to find out they are married. Sonnie reassured them, saying she does not associate with married men.

This new wave of scrutiny comes as Sonnie continues to move on from her past relationship with Mulamwah, with whom she shares a daughter.

Their breakup was marred by accusations of infidelity, with Mulamwah publicly alleging that Sonnie had been unfaithful.

However, Sonnie later revealed that Mulamwah apologized to her in private, and they have since maintained a cordial relationship for the sake of their child.

Many fans have praised Sonnie for how she has handled her personal life and public criticism.

They commend her strength in navigating the challenges of being in the spotlight while focusing on rebuilding her life and career.

Sonnie’s decision to keep her new partner’s identity mostly private seems to be her way of protecting her relationship from unnecessary attention.
