Isaac Wekesa, also known as "Bungoma Goliath," recently left churchgoers in shock after fainting during a prayer session at Pastor Victor Kanyari’s church in Nairobi.
Wekesa, who is famous for his towering height of over seven feet, was at the church seeking prayers when the unexpected incident occurred.
The event began when Pastor Kanyari placed his hands on Wekesa’s head and began fervently praying for him.
As Kanyari prayed, calling on the Holy Spirit, Wekesa appeared to become overwhelmed.
He started to sway, and within moments, he collapsed to the floor with a loud thud.
The congregation gasped in surprise, and ushers rushed to check on Wekesa’s condition.
Despite the dramatic moment, Pastor Kanyari remained calm and continued his service.
The pastor, known for his controversial methods during deliverance prayers, later described the incident as a divine encounter.
He explained that fainting during prayer, according to his teachings, is a sign of a spiritual breakthrough.
Kanyari believes that when individuals fall during his prayers, it symbolizes the breaking of spiritual chains that may be holding them back.
Wekesa regained consciousness shortly after fainting, and the moment was captured on video, which soon went viral.
The footage showed Wekesa being assisted by churchgoers, who were visibly concerned.
Pastor Kanyari’s followers, however, were not shaken by the incident and continued to support his unique approach to prayer.
Isaac Wekesa, who gained national attention alongside another extremely tall Kenyan, Bradley Marongo, has not yet achieved the same level of fame or success.
While Marongo has secured endorsement deals and become a public figure, Wekesa has struggled to make a name for himself.
After moving to Nairobi, he had hoped that his size would bring opportunities, but he has not yet found the breakthrough he was hoping for.
