"I'm Very Greatful" Gachagua Lands In Murang'a Hours After Kindiki, Kuria Rejection, Shares This Suggestive Tweet

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua made a significant appearance in Murang’a County on Sunday, November 24, 2024, as political tensions in the region reached new heights.

Gachagua attended a service at AIPCA Kangari Church in Kigumo, where he was warmly welcomed by the clergy and congregants.

His visit followed a dramatic weekend where Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and senior economic advisor Moses Kuria faced rejection from residents during public events.

Gachagua’s reception stood in stark contrast to Kindiki’s experience at the funeral of MCA Mark Gicheru the day before.

Mourners had refused to listen to Kindiki’s speech, highlighting growing dissatisfaction among the locals.

Gachagua, on the other hand, was presented with flowers by the church clergy, signifying respect and admiration.

In his address, Gachagua emphasized the importance of truth and fairness in leadership.

He also shared a Bible verse from Judges 16:21-22, referencing Samson's fall and eventual resurgence.

This verse seemed to symbolize his political journey, suggesting that despite his impeachment, he remains determined to make a comeback.

"We proclaim Christ The King whose kingdom is truthful, just and fair," Gachagua stated during the service.

The former deputy president also commented on the rejection faced by Kuria and Kindiki in Murang’a, distancing himself from the incidents.

He claimed that the reactions were spontaneous and reflected the true feelings of the people.

Gachagua expressed his gratitude to Mount Kenya residents for standing firm and remaining peaceful despite political frustrations.

Later, Gachagua donated KSh 1 million to St. James Cathedral Church in Kiambu for its construction.

The donation was presented by Kiambu Senator Karungo Thang'wa on his behalf. This gesture was well-received, with the church leaders expressing their gratitude.

Gachagua’s visit and actions reflect his continued influence in Mount Kenya politics despite being removed from office.
