Bishop Charles Motondo, a Congolese pastor, has touched many hearts this Christmas season with his generous donation to the Total Rehabilitation Centre in Kasarani, Nairobi.
Known for his dynamic ministry, Bishop Motondo recently visited Nairobi to not only minister to Kenyans but also to give back to the community.
As part of his mission, he sent food donations to the children's home, which were delivered on his behalf by popular singer Andrew Awili and media personality Nailantei Kenga.
The donation, which included essential items like unga (flour), brought smiles to the faces of the children at the centre.
The preacher, who is widely respected for his work in spreading hope and faith, shared his message with TUKO.co.ke, urging people to remember those less fortunate, especially during the festive season.
“As we celebrate Christmas, let’s remember the less fortunate. Share what you have with your neighbour,” Bishop Motondo said.
His visit to Nairobi was not only about charity but also about spreading his faith.
The bishop, who has been a beacon of hope for many, spoke about his upcoming gospel event at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
He revealed that the event would shed light on some of his visions concerning Kenya's future, including the political landscape.
Bishop Motondo stated that the event would reveal insights into President William Ruto's political future and whether he will be re-elected.
Apart from his charity work and upcoming event, Bishop Motondo also took the opportunity to address the rising disrespect towards President Ruto.
He warned Kenyans against mocking or insulting the president, saying that such behavior not only undermines the leader but also insults God, who he believes has anointed Ruto to lead the nation.
The bishop urged Kenyans to treat their leaders with respect and to scrutinize all sectors of society fairly, including religious institutions.
