Kenyatta University Student Found Dead After Disappearing for Days

The tragic story of Tracy Nyariki, a 31-year-old Kenyan nurse working in Newark, Delaware, has left her family and community devastated.

Tracy’s life was cut short in a horrifying murder that shook not only her loved ones but also those who knew her story of resilience and dedication.

Tracy had recently embarked on a promising career in nursing, a field she pursued with passion. As a caregiver, she was the backbone of her family, supporting them financially, especially her father, who has been confined to a wheelchair since suffering a stroke in 2010.

Her body was later discovered in a car belonging to her former partner, Nobert Matara, whom the family believes committed the crime out of jealousy.

The family recalls Tracy as a vibrant individual who was looking forward to Christmas festivities. The abrupt news of her demise left them in shock, grappling with the loss of someone who had been a pillar of strength and positivity.

Tracy’s death marks the third tragedy for her family in recent years, following the loss of her mother in 2013.

Her father’s health and the family’s financial reliance on Tracy’s support add to the weight of their sorrow. They now face logistical and financial hurdles in repatriating her body to Kenya for a proper burial.
