Grace Sidi has made history in Kilifi County by becoming the first-ever girl from the region to score a plain A in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

Grace, a student of The Bahari Girls High School, shared her experience with her schoolmates during a special return visit.
During her brief speech, she expressed gratitude for the support from her school and encouraged her peers to put in the effort required to achieve similar success.
"I just want to thank God, the school for your support, and I also want to encourage you to work hard," she said, inspiring many of her fellow students.
Her success has been celebrated widely, with Kilifi Governor Gideon Maitha Mung'aro also offering his congratulations.
He praised Grace for her achievement, which he described as a proud moment for the county.

"Once again, kudos to Grace Sidi, a resident of Matsangoni, for being the first girl in our county to get an A grade in the national KCSE exam at Bahari Girls High School," the governor remarked.
