Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Party, has strongly criticized President William Ruto, saying that the country is united against him.
In a recent statement, Kalonzo pointed out that the growing dissatisfaction among Kenyans has made many unite in their frustration with Ruto’s government.
Speaking passionately, Kalonzo emphasized that Kenyans are feeling the weight of increased living costs, unemployment, and economic struggles.
“The country is now united against one person, and that person is President William Ruto,” Kalonzo said, making it clear that the opposition is gaining momentum.
He believes that the president’s leadership is not living up to the expectations of many citizens.
The Wiper leader further argued that the high cost of living, along with the government’s failure to address economic challenges, has pushed people to express their discontent.
“People are suffering, and they are now speaking out,” Kalonzo added.
According to him, the government has not done enough to improve the livelihoods of ordinary Kenyans, and this has caused growing resentment.
Kalonzo’s comments come at a time when the opposition is becoming more vocal, organizing protests and demonstrations in response to Ruto’s policies.
“We need reforms, and we need them now,” he said, urging the president to take action to alleviate the economic burdens facing the public.
He also questioned the government's plans for job creation and economic recovery, claiming they are insufficient for addressing the issues facing many Kenyans today.
Supporters of President Ruto, however, argue that his administration inherited a country with many challenges, and significant changes take time.
They believe the president’s efforts will eventually pay off and lead to better opportunities for all citizens.
Despite these differences, Kalonzo’s remarks underline the deepening political divide in Kenya.
