Nyamu, sharing her views on social media, has suggested that the authorities should arrest those who have been released after being abducted.
According to the senator, this move would be a good starting point for intensifying investigations to uncover the individuals behind these troubling incidents.
Nyamu expressed her disappointment in the lack of detailed information from the abductees after their release.
"We all expected to hear from the abductees immediately after their release," she said.
"Why haven't we seen any interviews or accounts of what happened to them? We are only being fed bits and pieces of the story."
The senator, who believes that these abductions are part of a larger agenda orchestrated by those opposed to the government, voiced her frustration at what she sees as an effort to frame the government.
"They're looking for something that will upset Kenyans just like the Finance Bill 2024 did," Nyamu explained.
"But framing the government by killing innocent people? This is wrong.
How many people can the government possibly kill? If this were true, 80% of our country would be gone by now."
In an even bolder statement, Nyamu suggested that the government should arrest the abductees as part of the investigative process.
"The police should immediately arrest the ones who were released," she said. "This is the best place to start.
We need to understand who is behind all this. The opposition might be using third parties to carry out these abductions and avoid being caught."
Nyamu's comments come at a time when the police have denied involvement in the abductions and the subsequent release of several government critics.
The National Police Service has assured the public that it is actively investigating the matter and will reach out to those who were reported missing from various police stations.
Despite this, Nyamu remains unconvinced, urging Kenyans to look deeper into the situation.
