A mother from Maralal, Samburu County, is desperately seeking her son who has been missing for nearly a month.
Felis Kerimbo, a heartbroken mother, reported that her son, Tony Ongeshi, a student at Igwamiti Secondary School in Nyahururu, Laikipia County, disappeared on January 3.
The 17-year-old left their home early that morning with KSh 1,000, money that was meant to pay for his school fees.
Tony's sudden disappearance has left the family in a state of panic and confusion.
"Tony left home at 9 AM that day, and I have not seen him since," Kerimbo explained, with tears in her eyes.
"We have reported the matter to the police, but so far, there has been no progress in finding him."
Despite contacting several family members and seeking help from the local chief, the family has received no leads regarding Tony's whereabouts.
The mother shared her worries about her son, noting that he had been a responsible student, which makes his disappearance even more alarming.
"We have tried everything we can think of, but we have not heard from him or found any clues that could help us locate him," Kerimbo said.
"This has been a difficult time for our family, and we are struggling with the uncertainty."
Kerimbo's plea to her missing son was emotional. "Tony, if you can hear me, please know that I love you so much.
I am praying for your safe return. I can’t find peace without you, and my heart aches every day you’re gone."
The family has also been holding prayers at home, hoping that God will guide Tony back to them.
