His warning came during a church service on Sunday, where he openly addressed some members who have been expressing frustration and fatigue with their political journey.
Sifuna’s message was firm: "If you are tired of fighting for the rights of Kenyans, you should leave ODM."
He pointed out that there are members who have forgotten the party’s roots and what it stands for.
"Some of you joined ODM just two weeks before the nominations, and now you are already tired," he said, stressing that political change doesn’t happen overnight and requires long-term dedication.
The ODM Secretary-General reminded the party members that the road to liberating a country is long and often difficult.
He emphasized that while some people want instant results, the struggle for justice and the betterment of Kenyans takes time and perseverance.
"The journey to liberate a country is not an easy task. It may take a while to achieve," Sifuna stated.
Sifuna also made it clear that his commitment to ODM is unwavering. "I will continue standing for the truth.
If something is not going well, it is bad, and we shall speak out, no matter what," he asserted.
This statement shows that Sifuna is prepared to fight for what he believes is right, even if it means facing opposition from within his own party.
Earlier, Sifuna had addressed rumors surrounding the 2027 elections, stating that ODM has no coalition agreement with the ruling UDA party.
He highlighted that while the two parties might cooperate on some issues, ODM must retain its identity.
"If you are unpopular, it doesn’t matter how many leaders you bring around you, we will lose the election," he said, making it clear that the ODM’s primary focus is to serve the people of Kenya.
