Romario Koinet Ntuala, also known as Saningo, went missing on December 7, 2024, after attending a birthday party at home.
His mother, Josephine Ntuala, recalls how he left for Kericho town that day, wearing a black jumper and blue denim jeans. Since then, he has not returned, and his phone remains switched off.
Initially, Josephine thought her son had gone to visit his sister, but after ten days, her husband called, asking if Romario was home.
Three days later, Josephine confirmed with her daughter that Romario had not visited her. Concerned about his prolonged absence, she reported the matter to the police.
Witnesses claimed to have seen him in the Mara region taking photos, while others said he was later spotted at a hotel.
Despite these sightings, Romario remains missing, and his worried mother continues to plead for his safe return.
The situation is even more heartbreaking as Romario’s father passed away due to an illness around the same time his son went missing.

The family has been unable to bury him, as Romario’s presence is considered essential for the sendoff.
The father had been receiving treatment in different hospitals before he succumbed. Since his passing, his body has remained in the mortuary as the family waits for Romario to return home.
Josephine has made an emotional appeal, urging her son to come back. She believes in her heart that he is safe and asks him to return to fulfill his duty to the family.
